In the Political Cartoon ''Obama and Egypt'' It demonstrates two distinctive characters , The Angel and The Devil. This signifies the decision Obama has to make in order for the tension in Egypt to cease. In the Angels texts ''You should support the Egyptian people who only want freedom'' meaning that if he happens to get involved its for a good cause rather than an invalid purpose . Whereas the Devil ''If you abandon old allies when they need us most , no evil, Third world dictator will trust us again''.
In this Political Cartoon there is a deep message being thrown at Obama as to which side he should take into sincere consideration. In this specific case I would have to sway to the Angels side because there is a clear reason as to why Obama should intervene. The Egyptians only want freedom and oppurtunity, being captivated by a dictator for so long is more than overbearing. So for Obama to have the oppurtunity to rise up and interfere is for a clear purpose rather than an obscure one.
