In this political cartoon you see President Obama on a podium talking to the public about the defunding of Public Broadcasting. Kids show's characters like Arthur and Bert and Ernie all look less enthusiastic than they normally are. The appear to be sad from the news as you can see Arthur is frowning while reading the newspaper article about the defunding. Obama also seems appalled at the news that the republican's voted yes to defunding public broadcasting, you can tell by the quote bubble coming from his head that states "just look what they did with Big Bird!"
I do not support the defunding of Public Broadcasting. Public Broadcasting channel has helped millions of kids to learn fundamental skills and knowledge. It has been around for generations. I would not have 50% of the knowledge i have today if it wasn't for PBS. A future without PBS will be a less intelligent future for sure.
