In this image you see a woman who is pregnant holding her stomach. Her face is shaded over with black as though it is representing shame. Next to this woman is Steve Greenburg's definition if abortion. It says abortion is "an intensely personal medical and emotioon decision that can only made between a legislator and his political intrest group." This presents how the decision making that should be personal becomes one of the government. It gives the legislator and the political intrest group authority as if they wee the parents. Through Greenburg's imagery potrays independence as one of more that has ownership of many. The government has been dealing with the abortion issue for a while. Why is it that our legislation should be able to decide whether or not a female should be able to abort her baby? After all they are not the ones that have to carry the child in their womb for 9 months, they don't have to provide the child with food, and they don't have to deal with all the other major burdens of having a child. Abortion is a choice in which an individual must choose to make within themselves and be able to handle the outcomes that come from it.
