In the image above, we see that it's Valentine's day in modern times. the young man is using his Ipad to send an image of a flower to the girl he likes. Now we see that the girl has received the flower via her Ipad. The message here is technology is replacing all sentimental values people once had.
The author clearly understands that today's generation of teenagers don't know anything about being romantic. There's a huge difference in how people tend to express themselves. Technology has basically taken over people's emotions. The days where giving a box of chocolates, or handing a bunch of roses to your loved one is slowly fading away. When it comes to love and gifts, keeping it classic truly is better.
