In this cartoon you see a women standing there representing the word abortion. She has both hands on her stomach with a black shadow covering her face, as if she was in shame. And then to the right of this woman you see basically the definition for the word abortion. This definition represents the look on her face.
This political cartoon on abortion constitutes the disgrace, gloom, and uncertainty of what is about to come, through the use of metaphors and imagery. This woman is starting to face the facts of what happen and the look on her face is starting to show it. I most defiantly agree with abortion being a personal and emotional decision. It is something that you will have to live with for the rest of your life and that is why it’s such a big decision.
