this political cartoon appeals to emotional and ethical reason, by openly displaying an individuals sexual interest, allowing it to be OK to the public eye. in this political cartoon the soldier is explaining to the civilian about his bravery badges, and the one he received from boyfriend. this cartoon states the " don't ask don't tell, policy" which allows you to enter into the army without being recognized for your sexual interest. it enables you to be yourself and be in the army. however, the soldier is openly expressing himself by talking freely about his gayness, while wearing his army uniform.
this topic of openly expressing yourself is welled reasoned,but soldiers should not be allowed to join the army, because it will interfere with their relationship with the job they are there to do, and might cause the army or country our lives.
