Charlie Manson is sitting on the couch with two girls watching Charlie Sheen on TV, with his "Goddesses". Charlie Manson who is notorious for being a freak and a weirdo is stating that Charlie Sheen is a "Psycho..." See the irony? In this cartoon, the cartoonist is portraying how outrageous Charlie Sheen's behavior has been. He has requested large sums of money per episode of "Two and a Half Men", 1 Million dollars to be exact. Also, the text on the television stating "Charlie Sheen and "Goddesses" is making fun of his unconventional home life with two girlfriends. Therefore, the cartoonist is saying that even someone like Charlie Manson can say something about Charlie Sheen and his problems.
In this political cartoon, the artist uses imagery, humor, and a statement Sheen uses to portray his strange behavior. I do agree with the cartoonists message, Charlie Sheen having TWO girlfriends living with him at home is definitely not the norm. The fact that he calls them his goddesses makes it even more outrageous to the common home life. Sheen is currently going through a custody battle for his 2-year-old twin boys and them being exposed to what Sheen thinks is okay, may not work out in the long run for him or his children. I believe it is very unconventional for Charlie Sheen to have two girlfriends at home and try to raise his young twins; it may create confusion for the little boys. Would you want your children raised in that environment?
