1) Write a complex sentence beginning with a prepositional phrase.
- Up the street he went, counting each car that passed him by.
2) Write a compound sentence containing one prepositional phrase.
- Noticing the firetrucks, my mom knew instantly that there was an emergency nearby.
3) Use a series of prepositional phrases - in two separate sentences - to create parallel structure between the two.
- In the daycare room, there was two toddlers. Screaming and running, around the classroom for five hours straight.
