In this political cartoon, thrash cans lined up in a row labeled with the countries of Tunisia, Egypt, and Yemen. In the first thrash can the President of Tunisia is already thrown by the people of Tunisia. Followed by recently ousted President Mubarak of Egypt. Along with thrash cans with the two ousted presidents there is another one waiting for the President of Yemen.
A major political crisis is occurring in Egypt at this moment. The Egyptian people are calling for the resignation of their current President Hosni Mubarak because of his corrupt regime. Thousands of people filled the streets of Egypt protesting for his resignation. On February 11, 2011 President Hosni Mubarak finally agreed to step down as the leader of Egypt. Although, President Mubarak resigned the Egyptian people are still protesting calling for a democracy.
