In this cartoon, a row of garbage cans are labeled with countries such as Tunisia, Egypt, and Yemen. the cartoonist is sending the message that countries with harsh governments are overthrowing their governments and "kicking them to the curb". Tunisia and Egypt have so far revolted against their current governments and have succeeded. the next garbage can is labeled Yemen. This can foreshadow the overthrowing of their current government in the near future. Personally, i feel that its about time that the people of these nations are revolting. Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak was in power for 30 years. The people were done with him a long time ago, and this revolution in Egypt was very predictable due to the president's popularity. Tunisia's authoritarian president, Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali, was ousted by the peoples of Tunisia after holding power for 23 years. Again, this was very predictable because if your ruled by someone you hate and everyone in the country thinks the same way, odds are your going to revolt.
