There is a big hourglass with Mubarak at the top slowly ticking away into sand. At the bottom it looks like a desert with a camel and tree and two pyramids off to one corner. The cartoonists message is that Mubarak's time is running out and soon he won't be there anymore. I know this because of the description above it and it's pretty obviously shown in the cartoon. The cartoonist gets his point across by using imagery and humor. The issue presented in the cartoon seems truthful and real. Mubarak has been in control since 1981 and finally decided not to seek another term in 2011. Mubarak was Egypt's president for nearly 30 years and during that he dissolved Egypt's Parliament
